Unable to open “Search Archive” feature in Outlook with Enterprise Vault plug-in installed and experiences Internet Explorer Java script error.
Internet Explorer is not compatible with Enterprise Vault plug in and hence registry key modification is needed.
- Login as the user that is experiencing error messages.
- Please make sure Outlook is closed.
- Open REGEDIT.EXE and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent
4. Edit the (Default) key and set to Mozilla/5.0
5. Create the following three (3) string (REG_SZ) keys EXACTLY which should show exactly as below.
Data: Windows NT 6.1
Data: MSIE 10.0
6. Please close the REGEDIT.EXE and restart the computer.
